Begin your journey in Porto and cycle through picturesque villages surrounded by fields and forests. Cross several historic Romanesque bridges, including the one in Barcelinhos, a charming town with medieval streets and squares.

Cross the International Bridge into Spain and explore the historic town of Tui. After passing through O Porriño, cycle through charming villages and the Chan das Pipas pine forest. Descend towards Redondela, with views of the Ria de Vigo estuary. Join the Central Camino de Santiago and cycle through Arcade, where you can enjoy fresh oysters. Ascend through the forest and arrive in Pontevedra, a bustling town with delicious tapas and local wines.

  • On a self-guided tour, you are basically independent. IberoCycle transports luggage to the next hotel. 

    Riders are expected to complete each day's ride, unless there is an emergency, or a mechanical problem. 

    Cyclists do not travel as part of a group or with a guide, although they may coincide with other cyclists on the same trip.

    Our "IberoCycle On Call" service means we are always available for help or advice.

    Cyclists are provided with our own detailed Route Guide and maps for their chosen route.

    Fitter cyclists may extend stages at will.
