This bike tour will take you on a scenic route through the protected natural landscape of the Pinares del Rodeno, offering breathtaking views and opportunities to spot local wildlife. You'll then cycle along quieter roads to Teruel, a historic city renowned for its Mudéjar architecture and the legend of the Lovers of Teruel. Explore the charming old town, visit iconic landmarks like the Cathedral of Santa María de Mediavilla, and the UNESCO-listed Mudéjar architecture of Teruel. Finally, indulge in the local cuisine, especially dishes featuring the prized black truffle.

Estación Mora

Pista de Fuente Cerrada is a recreational area with pine forest and river vegetation. Climb up to Puerto de Escandón, an old mining railway station and cross Sierra Javalambre. Descend to Puebla de Valverde passing through La Fondica de la Estación, an old mining station with an outdoor terrace next to the greenway Ojos Negros - a nice place to rest and eat. From Puebla de Valverde to Sarrión and Albentosa you will cross spectacular stone bridges, viaducts and tunnels. You will ride surrounded by a wonderful landscape of Kermes Oaks. The biggest production of Black Truffle in the word is found in this area. In Estación Mora, you can enjoy truffle tourism and astrotourism. The low light density produces the starriest sky in Spain.

Segorbe

Much of this route is downhill. Cross the tunnel of Albentosa and then an impressive viaduct (the highest of the greenway which offers you a spectacular view. When you reach the old mine station El Palancar you are entering in the province of Castellón. On your way you cross El Palancar forest, an important area of Quejigos (Valencian Oaks) and Kermes Oaks. Pass through charming villages such as Barracas, Caudiel, Jérica and Navajas. From the viewpoint of Ragudo you will enjoy the incredible views of the Natural Parks Sierra Calderona and Sierra Espadán. After Jérica you return to the greenway and turn left to cross the amazing Regajo reservoir to Navajas. There you will enjoy the amazing natural site El Salto de la Novia (a 60 m high waterfall). In the square you find the spectacular Elm of Navajas – planted in 1636 as a symbol of union between the existing inhabitants and those who arrived. This was tree of the year of Spain in 2019 and the third in Europe. Leave Navajas and cross the spectacular Sierra Calderona Natural Park to reach Segorbe. This town will surprise you with its impressive architectural heritage. Leisure afternoon to stroll around Segorbe´s old town.

Puerto De Sagunto

After leaving the olive and almond groves of Castellón, we'll cycle through the orange orchards of Valencia, passing through charming inland towns. Surrounded by the Sierra Calderona Natural Park, we'll eventually reach the coastal town of Puerto de Sagunto. The day concludes with a relaxing afternoon by the Mediterranean Sea, just a short bike ride from the town center.

Our cycling adventure continues through the fertile Valencian countryside, following the Camino Liria, Vía Churra, and Vía Augusta. These historic routes will take us past traditional orchards and charming villages, offering a glimpse into the region's agricultural heritage. Upon reaching Valencia, we'll be greeted by a vibrant city that seamlessly blends ancient history with modern architecture. Explore the historic center, marvel at the futuristic City of Arts and Sciences, and relax on the beautiful beaches of La Patacona.

On this trip you can´t miss the spectacular Albufera Natural Park of Valencia with its 223 Km of rice paddies, forests and wonderful sunsets. An incredible place which invites you to a deep walk through El Saler meadow where you can observe many endemic species. You also must visit the fishing village El Palmar with its Valencian shacks and taste the typical dish: All i Pebre. Albufera Natural Park of Valencia is a picturesque, invoking place that takes you to the past… it´s not surprising that Blasco Ibáñez was inspired by this place to write his famous novel Cañas y Barro. After this unforgettable experience for all senses, you return to Valencia city.
