Getting There
By train - Santander is linked to Madrid through the RENFE network. It is also linked eastwards towards Bilbao and westwards towards Asturias by the FEVE railway network.
By air - RyanAir fly from Santander directly to Madrid, Reus, London, Dublin, Milan, Rome, and Frankfurt. Iberia fly to all Spanish Airports. Air Nostrum fly to Alicante, Amsterdam, Gran Canaria, Málaga, Palma, Paris, and Valencia. Bilbao Airport is just over 100 km away.
By sea - a ferry run by P & O connects Santander with Plymouth twice a week. The journey takes around 18 hours.
By bus - regular bus services mean you can ride to anywhere in Spain
from Santander.
