On Iberocycle holidays everything is taken care of. Tours are supported yet self-guided so riders can choose their own company - or lack of it!

An extensive Iberocycle Route Guide booklet shows where to go and what to see. At the end of every stage there is a comfortable bed and a hot shower waiting and the satisfaction of sipping a cool drink while reflecting on another day’s unique experience.

Luggage is transported by Iberocycle from hotel to hotel so you can pack all you need knowing that you won’t have to carry it. All you have to do is pedal!


The tours have been organized and tested by experienced cycle-tourists who would like you to enjoy the marvellous scenery to be found along these routes and share the same delight in this fine and unspoilt country. We have been resident in Spain for over 15 years and have a close and expert knowledge of the country.



Your Iberocycle hosts will be close at hand should you need help with bicycle adjustments, route briefings, suggestions, advice or anything else that will contribute to your enjoyment of your holiday.

They will visit you at periodical intervals during your trip to ensure that everything is running smoothly. We are sure you will find this personal service an important part of the holiday.





Iberocycle is run by Simon Proffitt and his wife Susana. Born in Lancashire, England, Simon has been resident in Santander for the last 17 years.

He is a keen amateur cyclist and cycle tourist and is well acquainted with Spain and the Spanish way of life. Susana is from Logroño, capital of La Rioja.

“Iberocycle” is officially registered as a company of ‘Turismo Activo de Cantabria’ with the Consejería de Industría, Turismo, Trabajo y Comunicaciones of the Gobierno de Cantabria.
